How to use Asia Voyager
Site FAQ
Asia Voyager stands out from other directory sites by offering unique features not found anywhere else. We cater specifically to single male travelers who seek new experiences in Southeast Asia. Beyond being a risqué directory, Asia Voyager enables you to post comments with photos both publicly and privately. Private comments are only visible to you, while public comments are seen by everyone.
1. Set up an account
Setting up an account is easy. Asia Voyager uses Login with Google. You'll need a Google/Gmail account in order to access this site. If you don't already have one, setting one up is easy.
2. Set up your profile
Your initial Asia Voyager profile is created using information from your Google account. You can customize it by changing your picture or adjusting the nickname that other users will see. To make these and other changes, you can edit your profile here.
The above link will only work if you're logged into Asia Voyager.
3. Your profile
Whenever someone clicks on your photo or nickname anywhere on the site, it goes to your personal profile. It's a really simple page, based on what you set up in step 2 above. You can view your public profile by clicking on the Settings page (from the main hamburger menu at the top right of the screen), then clicking Your Profile.
4. Internal site messages
Asia Voyager features a full message center. You can send messages to other users and even send photo attachments with your messages.
5. Site articles
The Creator (he who created this site) sometimes posts articles to the site. You'll find them all in the Articles section.
6. Establishments
This is the real meat of the site. It's where all the saved locations are stored. It is the main directory of Asia Voyager.
Searching
Asia Voyager allows you to search the directory based on country, city, neighborhood, street, highest rated, and more. If you allow Asia Voyager to access your location, you can also search by closest to me. This feature sorts results based on what's closest to your current position. Very useful if you're wandering the streets of Pattaya!
Establishments
These are the primary business pages, featuring a range of establishments including bars, gentlemen's clubs, and massage parlors. You'll also find listings for excellent restaurants, pool halls, and other popular spots favored by single male travelers.
If you click on the GPS coordinates on an establishment page, Google maps will open and take you there (if you have google maps installed).
Favorites
You can add any listing in the directory to your personal favorites list. You can also sort your favorites list by closest to me (if location sharing is turned on).
Comments
You can comment on articles and listings throughout the site, and attach photos to your comments. Comments can be either public or private; if set to private, only you will be able to view them. This feature is a great way to keep personal memories of places you've visited in the directory.
7. Conclusion
That's the basics of how Asia Voyager works. I hope you enjoy the site, I spent a very long time creating it. I plan to build the directory over time and continually update Asia Voyager over the coming years.
Welcome to Asia Voyager :)
